Vanessa Kue

Vanessa Kue is from Houston, Texas, but moved to Kansas City in 2017 to stay with family. Vanessa graduated from high school in 2017, and earned a degree in Health Sciences in 2022 from The University of Missouri-Kansas City. Vanessa's exposure to community health work began at CHC as a student intern from UMKC. Seeing the difference that The Community Health Council of Wyandotte County makes in its neighborhoods inspired Vanessa to continue working with CHC. Vanessa loves helping the Wyandotte community in whatever way she can, and looks forward to improving the area little by little, and providing residents with the empathy they need while assisting them. It is through this understanding and empathy, that Vanessa can understand local people's needs and connect them with the resources and tools they need to survive and succeed.
