Sheila McGreevy

Sheila McGreevy is a General Internist at University of Kansas Health System where she has practiced for the past 12 years. She graduated from Creighton University Medical School in 1991 and stayed at Creighton for her Internal Medicine residency. She was in private practice in Kansas City Kansas for 6 years. In 2002 she started volunteering at Duchesne Clinic and eventually became part of the staff. Her experience taking care of the uninsured at Duchesne clinic sparked an enduring interest in providing care for the underserved, whether at Duchesne clinic, JayDoc or through community engagement. She helped create the WyJo Care specialty care volunteer program and spent many years as a member of the Board of Directors for the Kansas City Medical Society. She is married, has 4 children and two grandkids. She likes to walk, read and watch British detective shows in her spare time.
