World Refugee Day! A Poem

The population who are affected by war and flood,   

Where dreams got drowned in rising mud,   

The world merged and became a ministry,   

Of hope entwined with history. 

From every corner, hearts take flight,   

In search of safety, warmth, and light,   

They flee the chaos, seek anew,   

In distant lands, where hopes are through. 

With every step, they carry dreams,   

Got out of school and jobs, lively,   

Communities built on donation desires,   

It was a testament to all humans who grew up with fires. 

Organizations rise, with passion bright,   

To champion rights, to stand for light,   

Innovative ideas spark and thrive,   

In camps, resilience keeps hope alive. 

Together, we face obstacles and fears,   

Dismantling barriers, drying tears,   

In recognition of every life's worth,   

We celebrate their contributions to Earth. 

Through social media, voices soar,   

Raising awareness, demanding more,   

For every refugee, their resilience stories,   

Of strength and courage, of hearts that never retire. 

Challenges are faced, united we stand,   

Embracing diversity across the land,   

For in our differences, we find our grace,   

A bright future where everyone has a place to belong. 

Therefore, let us act, let us contribute,   

Every moment, with kindness that exists,   

For freedom and rights, we take our stand,   

Together, let's create a better land.
